Take in Canada’s World Heritage Sites

Every year, UNESCO adds new cultural and natural sites to its World Heritage List. Canada boasts 20 of them, with Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park named as one of the 29 new wonders in June. Located south of Lethbridge, Alta., near the Canada-U.S. border, Writing-on-Stone features ancient Indigenous rock art painted and carved on sandstone columns.
