Summer 2019: We remain optimistic on macroeconomic conditions

Global markets continued the strong start to 2019 in the second quarter. At this time, we remain optimistic as the probability of recession over the next 12 months remains low. North American markets continue to lead global growth and central banks around the world have indicated more supportive monetary policy. Ongoing trade concerns persist.
