Q3 Global Investment Viewpoint

Throughout the third quarter and moving into the fourth, our focus remains on policy makers and the business cycle. We’ve seen central banks trying to figure out how and when to raise interest rates; in fact, the Bank of Canada increased rates twice over the summer, which has hurt fixed income returns and strengthened the Canadian dollar. Equity markets have responded positively and should be buoyed by continued, synchronized global growth.
