MD Introduces MDPIM Emerging Markets Equity Pool As Standalone Fund – Tactical Move Increases Potential For Better Performance Outcomes

July 18, 2014

MD Physician Services Inc. (MD), a Canadian Medical Association (CMA)-owned financial management organization, today announced the standalone offering of the MDPIM Emerging Markets Equity Pool in MD Private Investment Counsel (MDPIC).

“We created the MDPIM Emerging Markets Equity Pool by unbundling existing emerging markets assets from the MDPIM International Equity Pool,” said Brian Peters, President and CEO of MD. “This tactical move now provides MD’s portfolio management teams with the ability to proactively take advantage of favorable conditions in emerging markets. Most importantly, it increases the potential for strong investment outcomes for MD’s physician clients and their families.”
