August 7, 2013

MD Physician Services Inc. is pleased to announce a donation of $10,000 to The Mustard Seed Calgary and $10,000 to The Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre (The DI), to support the work both organizations are doing for Calgary flood relief.

"We hope that our donation to each of these organizations will help support those who have been impacted by the devastating flood in Calgary," said Brian Peters President and CEO. "Like many others, we are heartened by the tremendous spirit of Calgarians and Albertans, and extend our gratitude for the unwavering actions of the first responders and volunteers who have united in strength to help rebuild the great city of Calgary."

The Mustard Seed is a non-profit organization that has been caring for the needs of the less fortunate since 1984. Across Alberta, The Mustard Seed delivers basic services, housing and employment programs to those in need and partners with the community to address the root causes of poverty.

The DI is a homeless shelter in Calgary that offers care and shelter when needed and provides opportunities for people to rehabilitate and rebuild their lives.
